Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna welcomes university professors from Finland, Spain, and Vietnam as a part of the European project, “GreenEdAsia”: Learning for Sustainable Future – Higher Education for Green Transition in Southeast Asia

From 20 to 24 April 2026, representatives from Häme University of Applied Sciences (Finland), University of Burgos (Spain), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (Vietnam), Dong Thap University (Vietnam), and Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (Thailand) will participate in a meeting organized by Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) as part of the European project "Learning for Sustainable Future – Higher Education for Green Transition in Southeast Asia" (GreenEdAsia). GreenEdAsia is implemented under the ERASMUS+ program and funded by the European Union, with a total budget of €800,000. The project aims to promote sustainable development through higher education in Southeast Asia by integrating green and environmentally friendly elements into academic programs.

 

The project partners will collaborate under Work Package 4: Collaborative Learning Ecosystem with Industry and Academia. This initiative aims to establish a sustainable collaborative learning ecosystem with academia and industry/societal partners. The project also seeks to develop new curriculum and learning methods piloted and contextualised through student challenges. This working meeting, hosted at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pracha Yeunyongkul, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ronnachart Munsin, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supornphan Konchaib, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rungnapha Khiewwijit, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tarapong Karnjanaparichat, Miss Sumana Sorathiwa, and Miss Tulaya Daroon.

 

Over the course of this week, project partners will engage in a series of activities, including workshops, site visits, and training sessions, aimed at addressing key collective challenges at the organizational level. These activities are designed to support the development and implementation of student-centered teaching and learning approaches that contribute to the advancement of the green transition.
